The second annual “Sip Sip Soirée, A Celebration of Women, Wine, Spirits & Pizza” will take place on Thursday, March 6 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Harry’s Pizza e Vino, 111 E. Rhine St., Elkhart Lake.

The festive gathering, strategically timed with International Women’s Day, features a selection of female-forward wines selected by Rebecca Roessger, Northeast Wisconsin sales representative of Select Sellars; a pop-up pizza party hosted by Harry’s Pizza e Vino, and (new this year) a second collection of wines from Allstate Liquor & Wine Co. poured by sales representative Jocelyn Jungers.

Event features

Harry’s Pizza e Vino’s co-owner Laurie Latifi will present a sampling of the eatery’s Roman-style pizza in flavors like walnut, vegetable and marsala beef. As a special offering, she’ll include pesto and bread and olives and bread from their Vino Spuntino Wine Snacks Menu.

Featured wines will include: 

  • Malabaila “Le Tre” Arneis (Roero, Italy), Select Sellars
  • Albino Rocca Chardonnay (Langhe, Italy), Select Sellars
  • Giornata “Il Campo” Rosso (Paso Robles, California), Select Sellars
  • Domaine Rouge Bleu “Mistral” Red Blend (Côtes du Rhône, France), Select Sellars
  • Sun Goddess Pinot Grigio (Friuli, Italy), Allstate Liquor & Wine
  • Loveblock Sauvignon Blanc (Marlborough, New Zealand), Allstate Liquor & Wine
  • Wente “Angel’s Ink” Pinot Noir (Monterey, California), Allstate Liquor & Wine

There will also be a Select Sellars sponsored Soirée Sparkler featuring La Gritona Reposado Tequila (Mexico), Domaine Gassier Blanc de Blancs Brut (France) and Nan’s Naughty & Nice Pomegranate Margarita & Cocktail Mix (Wisconsin). 

Meanwhile, Sami Hansen, owner of Cupcake Sugar and Aspen Oak Boutique in Elkhart Lake will provide sweet treats along with Indulgence Chocolatiers from Milwaukee, who will feature a duo of handmade truffles. Finally, Intuitive Balance will offer a selected wellness item from their shop as a surprise gift. 

Purchase tickets

Tickets are available for purchase online for $60 per person and include generous sampling portions of wine, spirits, appetizers, pizza, and desserts. Additional alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages will be available for purchase. Proceeds from the event will support the Plymouth Food Pantry, which serves the northwestern portion of Sheboygan County including Elkhart Lake.
