Few things in life are certain; death, taxes, and you never know where Milwaukee’s SteveDaStoner may show up next.

The rapper and content creator has been on a run of viral hits in the past couple of years, known for his “free concerts,” where he barges into stores, the library, the Milwaukee Night Market, or anywhere that has an unlocked door, really, to perform part of his song “RWS.” In fact, it became such a sensation that when Ludacris’ concert at Tacos and Tequila Fest last year was rained out, he took the opportunity to give a free concert with SteveDaStoner inside 3rd Street Market Hall.

Refusing to be a one-hit wonder, Steve followed up “RWS” with “Uptown,” a contagious track that has a dance to go with the song’s hook. Since the release of the song in November, Steve has been doing the “Uptown” dance all over TikTok and Instagram, in an effort to help make the song go viral. Once again, you never know where he may pop up (that’s sort of his thing.)

On Wednesday night, he made a surprise appearance on Twitch streamer and social media celebrity Kai Cenat’s nightly stream, and instructed Cenat on how to do the “Uptown” dance.

For those not familiar, Kai Cenat is one of the world’s most followed streamers, amassing over 16 million followers on Twitch, 17 million on TikTok, and 12 million on YouTube. He’s taken his celebrity to new heights, as well, signing partnerships  with Nike, McDonald’s and appearing in the WWE. As one commenter on TikTok pointed out, “Being on Kai’s stream is like being on Ellen in 2016,” and frankly, they’re not wrong. Wednesday night’s stream also included a live zebra in Cenat’s room, as well as Cenat playing “Grand Theft Auto” on the video game streaming platform.

If you want to watch the full five hour stream from last night, you can do that here (caution: language is unfiltered.) SteveDaStoner shows up at around the two-hour and five-minute mark. You can learn how to do the "Uptown" dance as well.
