As of Monday, April 5, all state residents 16 and older become eligible for the COVID-19 vaccine.

People who choose to get the vaccine should contact their health providers if they have one. OnMilwaukee also published this list of places offering the shot

The original plan was to offer vaccinations to all on May 1, so this new date falls 30 days ahead of schedule.

Wisconsin currently leads the nation in getting shots in arms. More than 2.7 million shots have been administered and 1 million Wisconsinites are completely vaccinated.

"Thank you to all the folks in public health, vaccinators, and staff helping make this possible. Let's keep it up, Wisconsin!" Governor Evers posted to Facebook yesterday.
