The Vince Lombardi Cancer Foundation will celebrate its 51st anniversary by hosting its annual two-day Lombardi Golf Classic, teeing off June 2-3.

The weekend will begin Friday with an 18-hole practice round at North Hills Country Club in Menomonee Falls, followed by a Golf Gala at The Pfister Hotel in Downtown Milwaukee, where all golfers along with a guest are invited for an evening dinner, raffles and an auction. One celebrity guest will also be announced for each golfing foursome for the following morning's Celebrity Golf Classic Tournament at North Hills Country Club.

This year's confirmed sports celebrity guests – ranging from Olympians to former Packers to Bucks champs to Brewers icons and beyond – include:

  • Jordy Nelson
  • Lynn Dickey
  • Ken Sanders
  • Greg Vaughn
  • Jason Spitz
  • Dan Jansen
  • Jared Abbrederis
  • Pat Connaughton
  • Ryan Longwell

In addition to offering a golf outing of a Wisconsin sports fan's dreams, the Vince Lombardi Cancer Foundation Golf Classic's main goal is to raise money for organizations aiming toward a cancer-free future. The annual golf tournament serves as a signature event for the foundation, which began in 1971 to partner with various organizations that help prevent cancer, find a cure and provide the best care to those fighting the disease.
