Beginning this Sunday, there will be a new spot to brunch on Brady Street.

Kampali opened the doors of its bright, modern taqueria in January at 1205 E. Brady St., quickly gaining a reputation for its both its tacos and cocktails. And now, the venue will add a complementary brunch featuring a variety of Mexican breakfast specialties.

Offerings include staples like breakfast tacos featuring three tortillas filled with scrambled eggs and ham or house-made chorizo, cabbage and chipotle crema with a side of rice and beans ($9.50); huevos rancheros with three over-easy eggs, salsa ranchera, tortillas rice and beans ($8.90); and chilaquiles with cheese and salsa verde ($9.50; add ham, chorizo or hangar steak for an additional $2-3.50).

Other items include the Muy Sano Scrambler with sauteed cactus, quinoa, green peppers, tomatoes, onions and potatoes, served with grilled bolillo ($9.50); Burrito Hidalgo filled with scrambled eggs, Monterrey Jack cheese, potatoes and ham, covered in tomatillo sauce ($9.50); traditional huarache topped with beans, lettuce, tomato, salsa roja and two sunny-side-up eggs ($9; add ham or chorizo for $2.50) and horchata pancakes (two for $8).

Brunch cocktails will include Bloody Marias for $5 and Tequilamosas for $7.

Brunch service will take place on both Sundays and Mondays from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. beginning Sunday, Aug. 19.
