November at the UWM Panther Arena is going to be, as the kids say, fire as Martin Lawrence's LIT AF comedy tour will hit the Downtown venue on Saturday, Nov. 3.
While many likely know him from his big-screen hits "Bad Boys" and "Big Momma's House" – as well as his small-screen sitcom smash "Martin" – Lawrence built his career on the stand-up stage, hosting and performing on "Def Comedy Jam."
He's returned to his live show origins over recent years – including through the LIF AT tour, which will also bring fellow funnymen DeRay Davis ("21 Jump Street"), Rickey Smiley, Michael Blackson and Benji Brown to Milwaukee.
Tickets for the 7:30 p.m. show will go on sale beginning at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, July 25, ranging in price from $45 to $125. Tickets will be available at the Miller High Life Theatre box office, over the phone at (800) 745-3000 and online at Ticketmaster. For more information on the show, visit the LIF AF comedy tour's website. It's gonna be ... well, you know.
As much as it is a gigantic cliché to say that one has always had a passion for film, Matt Mueller has always had a passion for film. Whether it was bringing in the latest movie reviews for his first grade show-and-tell or writing film reviews for the St. Norbert College Times as a high school student, Matt is way too obsessed with movies for his own good.
When he's not writing about the latest blockbuster or talking much too glowingly about "Piranha 3D," Matt can probably be found watching literally any sport (minus cricket) or working at - get this - a local movie theater. Or watching a movie. Yeah, he's probably watching a movie.
