The Milwaukee Public Museum is a museum of human and natural history that interprets the world's culture and natural heritage through collections, research, education and exhibits.

Created in 1882, the museum has many interesting exhibits such as The Streets of Old Milwaukee, The Living Oceans, The Rain Forest and Butterflies Alive.

The Milwaukee Public Museum’s Food & Froth Fundraiser

Once a year, the Milwaukee Public Museum throws open the doors for our Food & Froth Fundraiser, a giant after-hours party. Think hundreds of craft beers, dozens of samples from local restaurants and caterers, live performances from local bands, and three floors of exhibits. Your ticket directly supports education programs, collections, research, and exhibitions at the Milwaukee Public Museum. When: Saturday, February 18 Time: 7 – 10 p.m. Cost: VIP Admission – $135 General Admission – $75

Sleepover at the Milwaukee Public Museum

Leave the kids at home on May 19 and discover what really happens at the Milwaukee Public Museum during the night! Experience the Museum as you’ve never seen it before with exciting tours, curator chats, films in our 6-story dome theater, and the freedom to have your ideal museum evening. Guests will enjoy food stations available throughout the evening, two drink tickets, a late night snack, continental breakfast with a morning mimosa plus special exhibit-based programming. All guests must be 21 or older. When: Friday, May 19, 2017 Time: Registration begins at 6:00 p.m. Cost: $125 per person; $115 for groups of 10 or more; and $100 for MPM members
