The Milwaukee Public Museum is a museum of human and natural history that interprets the world's culture and natural heritage through collections, research, education and exhibits.

Created in 1882, the museum has many interesting exhibits such as The Streets of Old Milwaukee, The Living Oceans, The Rain Forest and Butterflies Alive.

The Milwaukee Public Museum Adult Sleepover

Adults—ever wonder what it’s like to spend a night at the Museum? Brave MPM after dark for our Adult Sleepover! MPM’s Adult Sleepover begins Friday evening on September 29 and runs through the morning of September 30. As a sleepover guest, prepare to experience the Museum as you’ve never seen it before with exciting tours, curator chats, films in our six-story Dome Theater, Camp Halcyon’s Campfire Lounge, and the freedom to have your ideal museum evening. It'll be an all-night MPM Party! The adult sleepover is a 21+ event.

Halloween Hauntings at MPM

Halloween Hauntings is a bewitchingly good time for everyone, and all ages are invited. This is a members-only event, but member guests are welcome for $5 (limit 2). Activities: • Trick-or-treat through Museum exhibits (costumes encouraged) • Encounter creepy, crawly beasties with “the animal dude” • Learn about birds of prey from the Schlitz Audubon Nature Center • Go on a spine-chilling ghost tour • Make a spooky craft, hear not-so-scary stories, and more RSVP: Reservations will be accepted beginning September 18.
