Why does Kato Kaelin hate the Packers and the Brewers?

Kato Kaelin, America's most famous (infamous?) houseguest, has a lot of things to say on Twitter these days, especially about Wisconsin sports.

The former model, reality TV personality and current owner of Slacker Lounge Wear, is a self-described Brewers and Packers fan. But the Milwaukee native sure has had some pretty harsh words for his supposed favorite teams on social media.

Take, for example, this tweetstorm that erupted from his account during the Green Bay Packers' prime-time loss to the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday night:

And if you wonder how he feels about the Brewers, who are on the cusp of making the playoffs:

By the way, those are just his tweets from Sept. 17. The day before, he was on a similar Twitter tirade:

It goes on and on and on.

You'd think the 58-year-old Kaelin would be a more appreciative fan, given that he won the 50/50 raffle at the Brewers-Orioles game on July 3. The Nicolet High School grad split the $12,411 prize with his brother, sister-in-law and friend. He told the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel afterward, "I love the Brewers and they were winners, and this just made it so much sweeter that we were winners at the game, too."

Added Kaelin: "I like my city and I hope there are no haters. Don't hate, congratulate."

We reached out to Kaelin to get an explanation on his, uh, passion for Wisconsin sports. He said he's "swamped," but I should contact his PR guy for an interview, and I will.

For now, we'll take him at his word (via tweets). If he recommends congratulating and not hating, maybe he should lead by example.
