Bartender Joey Haughtaling of Lucky Joe's Tiki Room, 196 S. 2nd St., is one of the nominees for the title of America's Most Appreciated Bartender.

The contest, run by Liquor.com, gathers up 30 of the most appreciated bartenders from across the nation. The two bartenders with the most votes win a party for their particular establishment, complete with a live performance from either hardcore punk band The Bronx or modern rhythm and blues/soul rocker Nick Waterhouse.

The parties will be hosted on Dec. 6 in honor of Bartender Appreciation Day.

In order to win the title for Haughtaling (as well as a nice party for the city), go to the contest's website and place your vote. The contest ends Nov. 25.
