The winter months can be so harsh on your skin, and with the arctic blast that has hit a lot of the country these last few weeks, we are all in need of upping our skincare game. The bitter cold temperatures dry out our skin and irritate it, causing a flaky and dull completion.

Well, since I'm a skincare junkie, I've rounded up a few of my fave skincare items that I've found to combat the winter skin blues.

Loccitane Youth Oil

I'm a huge fan of face and body oils; they help keep the skin moisturized and supple. This one is packed full of Immortelle essential oil, which helps fight signs of aging. Apply this alone or before your moisturizer at night. (1 ounce, $99)

DermaE Rejuvenating Sage and Lavender Face Oil

This face oil will leave your skin glowing and is perfect for the daytime. Mix with your moisturizer or even mix with your foundation for a dewy look with super hydrated skin. (1 ounce, $16.50)

Neocutis Neo-cleanse gentle skin cleanser

This is my favorite cleanser to use when my skin is dry and dull. The consistency is super thick and moisturizing, and it soothes your skin while cleansing. (4 ounces, $38)

Loccitane Shea Butter light comforting cream

Moisture is key to keeping healthy skin during the winter months. But you don't want to use the super heavy creams during the day since it will melt your makeup too. This fine non-greasy formula will leave you seeing the moisturizing effects for up to 48 hours! (1.7 fluid ounces, $29)

Ever Biomimetic Peel Pads

With this harsh winter weather making your skin dry, a good exfoliating product is crucial. These pads will smooth and resurface the texture of your skin while removing dead skin cells and leaving your skin refreshed. (45 pads for $70)

When I'm traveling, I don't want to pack a ton of skincare so these are my go-to travel items. These are also great to add into your everyday routine if you'd like.

TULA day and night hydrating cream

When I'm traveling, I like to use a moisturizer that can be used both day and night. This one is light enough for under your makeup but moisturizing enough to use with serums at night. (1.7 ounces, $52)

TULA Illuminating Face Serum

This serum is perfect to use at night. Go to bed with dull skin but wake up with a brightened, youthful complexion. (1.6 ounces, $78)

TULA dual-phase skin reviving treatment pads

This is an instant facial for your skin. The dual-sided pad leaves your skin smooth, clear and soft. Plus these are individually wrapped so they are perfect for travel. (16 individually wrapped pads, $59)
