For everyone not located inside the Boston or Philadelphia regions, picking a team to root for in this weekend's Super Bowl LII is the opposite of a Sophie's choice situation.
No decent, self-respecting person should root for the soul-crushing superpower that is the New England Patriots, while the Eagles have a fan base second only to Boston in terms of irritation. (They booed Santa for heaven's sake!) Those dog masks are creepy, and I'll still never forgive them for fourth-and-26.
If forced to choose between rooting for the Patriots and rooting for the Eagles, I would choose a meteor strike.
Halftime performer Justin Timberlake found himself in that very situation during a press conference this afternoon – and he came up with an even better answer.

It shouldn't come as a surprise to any hardcore JT stan. Even though he hails from Tennessee – and is a minority owner for of the Memphis Grizzlies basketball team – when it comes to football, the "SexyBack" singer is a Packer backer thanks to his friendship with Aaron Rodgers and others who "would decapitate me if I did not root for the Packers." Fair punishment.
Anyways, good answer, JT. Now apologize to Janet Jackson.
As much as it is a gigantic cliché to say that one has always had a passion for film, Matt Mueller has always had a passion for film. Whether it was bringing in the latest movie reviews for his first grade show-and-tell or writing film reviews for the St. Norbert College Times as a high school student, Matt is way too obsessed with movies for his own good.
When he's not writing about the latest blockbuster or talking much too glowingly about "Piranha 3D," Matt can probably be found watching literally any sport (minus cricket) or working at - get this - a local movie theater. Or watching a movie. Yeah, he's probably watching a movie.
