Enjoy three days jam-packed with music, Sheepshead tournaments, wine tasting and children's activities. Learn your family history as well as genealogists look up your family tree and see the alluring display of European trains. And don't forget to check out the special feature this year, The Stihl Timbersports Series, bringing some of the top lumberjack athletes to Milwaukee.

Hours: 3 p.m. to midnight on Friday, noon to midnight on Saturday, and noon to 9 p.m. on Sunday.
Admission: Adult tickets are $12 in advance. At the gate, tickets cost $15 for adults, $7 for seniors 60 and over as well as for students with school ID. Kids 12 and under are admitted free with a paid adult admission. Active military members and their immediate family members will receive free admission with an active ID. There will also be free admission for all disabled or physically challenged attendees – with one escort – on Friday from 3 p.m. until 5 p.m.
Discounts: Friday: $3 admission all day for everyone in honor of Military Appreciation Day, as well as free admission for active military, veterans and their immediate family members at all gates with proper ID.
Sunday: From noon until 3 p.m., patrons can bring three non-perishable food items to support the Hunger Task Force and receive free German Fest admission. Available at the south gate only. If one isn't in the giving mood for some cruel reason, German Fest will also offer free admission from 11:30 a.m. until noon at the south gate only.
The STIHL TIMBERSPORTS U.S. Professional & Collegiate Championships
The STIHL TIMBERSPORTS Series – The Original Extreme Sport – is coming to Milwaukee! The sport, which features the top lumberjack athletes in the country competing in grueling, thrilling axing, chopping and sawing competitions, will hold its U.S. Pro and Collegiate Championships at German Fest Milwaukee from July 28 to 30. Schedule: Friday, July 28, 2017 - Qualifier Event from 4-9 pm - Top 20 athletes in 2 pools of 10 Saturday, July 29, 2017 - Championship Event from 5-8 pm - Top 8 athletes Sunday, July 30, 2017 - Collegiate Championships from 2-4 pm - Top 8 athletes Tickets: Tickets to the Championships can be purchased at http://germanfest.com/get-tickets/. Single-day tickets can be purchased for $9 using the promo code STIHL2017, which takes 25 percent off. Three-day passes can be purchased for $21.
Milwaukee Irish Fest 2017
Milwaukee Irish Fest is the world’s largest celebration of Celtic music and culture. The four-day festival showcases more than 100 entertainment acts on 17 stages at Henry W. Maier Festival Park on Milwaukee’s lakefront. The annual festival occurs every third weekend in August. The 37th annual Milwaukee Irish Fest takes place August 17 to 20, 2017.

We want to see it! The Best Costume and Most Spirited contest winners will be announced and awarded prizes at the post-event celebration ceremony. Milwaukee Irish Festival Wristbands Participants and volunteers should visit the Wristband Tent BEFORE the race starts. Wristbands will be distributed to volunteers on the list and participants with a bib number. Wristbands will not be available after the race. Parking & Directions City of Milwaukee parking is available along the lakefront. Parking is not guaranteed and we do not have special event parking for participants or volunteers.
