We all know Giannis is an MVP on and off the court, but while the former is on a hiatus due to the coronavirus, he's hasn't stopped proving the latter.

The reigning MVP and current 2019-20 frontrunner for the honor announced Friday afternoon that he will donate $100,000 to Fiserv Forum staff affected by the multiple closings, cancellations and postponements that will render them without work or pay for the impending future.

"It’s bigger than basketball!" Antetokounmpo announced on Twitter. "And during this tough time I want to help the people that make my life, my family’s lives and my teammates lives easier."

Cleveland Cavaliers star Kevin Love – who made a similar pledge the previous day – quickly applauded Giannis' move on social media:

Shortly after Giannis' pledge, the entire Bucks organization joined the cause as well on Friday afternoon, announcing on social media that it will match all Bucks players' donations to affected part-time Fiserv Forum staff.

And let's all join Giannis and the Bucks in helping our Milwaukee community during this coronavirus outbreak – which means supporting local restaurants and small businesses, social distancing when possible and self-quarantining if necessary, washing your hands thoroughly, avoiding touching your face, and listening to scientific authorities and staying informing of best practices.

Once more time: Stay smart and stay healthy, Milwaukee; we're all in this together.

As much as it is a gigantic cliché to say that one has always had a passion for film, Matt Mueller has always had a passion for film. Whether it was bringing in the latest movie reviews for his first grade show-and-tell or writing film reviews for the St. Norbert College Times as a high school student, Matt is way too obsessed with movies for his own good.

When he's not writing about the latest blockbuster or talking much too glowingly about "Piranha 3D," Matt can probably be found watching literally any sport (minus cricket) or working at - get this - a local movie theater. Or watching a movie. Yeah, he's probably watching a movie.
