Twin Brother, Abby Jean and Dramatic Lovers

TWIN BROTHER, ABBY JEAN AND DRAMATIC LOVERS Fri Sep 22 2017 8pm - $10 @ 224 W. Bruce St. New EP release show! Milwaukee's Twin Brother is a band re-imagined. Fronted by West Allis native, Sean Raasch, Twin Brother has been playing indie-inspired folk rock in town since 2012. The band released two records, 2013's self-titled release, and 2014's Swallow the Anchor, which drew a lot of praise and earned Twin Brother headlining club gigs across town as well as opening slots at Turner Hall for several national acts. However, not content to be a band pigeonholed in the ever growing alternative country folk scene, Raasch and longtime bandmate Lodi Broekhuizen retooled Twin Brother, adding new members and expanding the band's sonic repertoire. advance tickets available here-- https://anodynecoffee.com/shop/shop/twinbrother/

Them Coulee Boys with Armchair Boogie

$10 Admission To purchase tickets visit the Walker's Point location or advance tickets available here-- https://anodynecoffee.com/shop/shop/couleeboys/ Allegedly founded at a summer camp, Them Coulee Boys have come a long way since then. Born in the back valleys of Western Wisconsin, Them Coulee Boys craft a brand of Americana that blends punk, bluegrass, and rock & roll. What's left is music that feels like a conversation, all while knowing just how diverse a conversation can be. A love letter or a farewell fight. A drunken confession or a sober realization. A fist raised in protest, or a hand held in harmony. Them Coulee Boys want you to find your voice in their music, and sing along. Guitar, banjo, mandolin, bass, and a lone kick drum provide the pulse that drives the music Them Coulee Boys make. 4-part harmonies learned in dive bars and church basements alike provide a back drop for lyrics that make it "impossible not to bob your head, shake your legs, or even strum your fingers along with the beat" (The Spectator). Never the ones to stand still, Them Coulee Boys are tirelessly touring and working on their second record, due soon. http://www.themcouleeboys.com/ "[Them Coulee Boys] are prolific, caring, and a fiercely good time on stage and off." - Volume One Magazine Armchair Boogie takes the essence of traditional bluegrass/folk music and molds it to their own youthful, energetic, and improvisational style. https://www.facebook.com/armchairboogieboys
